The Story of the LuauKing

LuauKing.com is owned and operated by Kimo's Ono Hawaiian Food located amidst the tropical beauty of the Big Island of Hawaii within the town of Hilo. (pronounced: Hee'-Low).

Here's the back view from our office lanai. Isn't it beautiful? Someone has to see this view everyday so it might as well be us! We are located on the bank of the Wailoa River.

Kimo's Ono Hawaiian Food began serving authentic Hawaiian food in 1989 and was picked by Hawaii magazine as serving the finest Hawaiian Food on the Big Island. Currently, you will not find the original Kimo's Ono Hawaiian Food restaurant since it closed in 1995 and has since been developing the mail order business as well as e-commerce.

Who's the LuauKing?

The person responsible for the idea and management of LuauKing.com is Hawaiian entrepreneur Kimo Miller. Kimo has been involved with many start-up businesses within Hawaii over the past 25 years. He is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools and received his post high school education from the "School of Hard Knocks!" He also posesses a Doctorate in "Small Business Survival" from the University of Waikiki. : )
